Project Description
MOKA.jl is an ocean model written in Julia capable of running on irregular, non-rectilinear, TRiSK-based meshes. It is based on DOE's E3SM MPAS-Ocean in Fortran. MOKA.jl uses KernelAbstractions.jl to be able to run the same Julia code on multiple devices. The team will conduct performance experiments on different GPUs. This work falls under the ambit of the team's SciDAC partnership project Impacts. Links: https://github.com/SciDAC-ImPACTS/Moka.jl
