Description: Deploy a small Kubernetes testbed reusing existing hardware within the JLSE. The testbed will host backend services supporting web portals running outside of the JLSE and HPC workflows. The testbed will utilize Petrel for its primary data storage, initially staging data over the network and eventually having direct access to Petrel via a POSIX interface.

Testbed: 6-8 recent compute nodes with some local storage (a 10s of TB).
